Mrs Armstrong-Smith talks Surf Life Saving
From a young age, CCGS senior school teacher Mrs Kerry Armstrong-Smith has been a trailblazer for women in the surf life saving movement.
She's championed women in the sport by training hard and entering men's races to show how capable women are. With a range of medals and State, National and World Championship titles, Mr Steven Bennett, Deputy Headmaster interviewed Kerry who shared her experiences and successes over the years with senior school students and staff. Kerry talked about the importance of supporting the community through volunteering.
She has been awarded the National Sports Medal for Services to Surf Life-Saving and the National Service Medal for Serving the Community.
